FILIPINOS GOT TALENT ;-)

I am here bragging about how talented Filipinos/Filipinas are, we are extraordinary and Singing is one true proof that Filipinos are exceptional. I am just so amazed and overwhelmed every time i hear some news about our "kababayans" (fellow Filipinos) making huge noise in the music industry.

It is such great honor and pride to see them perform outside the Philippines and represent their motherland all over the globe.

Everyone knows YOUTUBE right? well for those who aren't, this is the perfect time for you to know and be glad that it was invented :-) okay, YouTube is a video sharing website where users can upload, view and share video clips and yes it is undeniably famous. CULINARY SCHOOL GRADUATES IN DEMAND

In uncertain economic times, there are things that will always remain constant, one is, without a question is the person's need to eat. Even the fine dining restaurants are still doing well even in the rough and prosperous times, they hardly feel the crisis of the economic uncertainty. Culinary Graduates are more likely to have a good opportunity abroad and on cruise. Aside from the fact that Chefs are being paid generously it is the passion for food that best describe their fulfillment. Me,as a culinary graduate.. i am thinking of trying my luck here in the United States. Yeah i graduated Professional Culinary Arts in the Philippines. I took the course primarily because i really want to put up a business. A food business. But since I'm here in the U.S of A obviously its not that easy to put up a restaurant so i might as well work in a hotel for the meantime, as a front desk officer. heehee :) No but seriously,Culinary Arts are for those who love anything and everything about food and who are passionate and creative. PASSION means the enthusiasm you put in everything you do, CREATIVE meaning you can combine flavors then come up with a unique dish, LOVE meaning you are so keen and dedicated to cooking that you are willing to spend hours in the extreme heat of the kitchen just to create your own masterpiece. If you find yourself interested to all the things i said or if you are 100% sure that this is YOU. Positive! Culinary Arts Education is the perfect career for you.

LOVE is certainly in the air

Valentines Day is near, can you feel it? if you're a Filipino, i am 98% sure you are now in the mood for some lovin. For us Filipinos we usually make a big fuss about valentines day, like if we don't celebrate it or remember it,as if we have committed a crime to our partners. (ohkay,im over-reacting hehe) but yeah seriously, we are very much into celebrating this very LOVEly day.

There are a lot of ways on how we filipinos celebrate the Valentines day and just to name a few:
we usually give romantic hallmark cards, set an intimate dinner or probably a hotel room reservation (i said hotel, not those cheap motels ok?), go to the movies and of course along with all of these are the flowers and chocolates we all love to receive especially on hearts day.

Alright for those of you especially for those guys who are on a tight budget right now and still want to celebrate the valentines day, here are some tips i've read somewhere and lemme share it with you:

Step1
Write your sweetheart a love letter. Use special stationery - pick a beautiful textured, colored, and scented paper from a specialty paper store. Choose a colored pen that will go nicely on this paper. Tell her, from your heart, how much you love her and why she is the most important thing in your life. Trust me, she will cherish this gift more than anything else.
Step2
Frame a romantic picture of the two of you and give it to her as a gift.
Step3
Cook her a romantic dinner. If she is into Italian, buy heart shaped pasta and cook it for her. If she likes lobster, steak, or other expensive food, instead of taking her out to a restaurant, cook it for her. You could also cook her favorite dish. You will satisfy her hunger for food and love without breaking your bank.
Step4
Take her on a romantic walk. You can choose a beautiful location like a beach, near a lake etc. Or, you could take her on a tour of all the important places in your relationship like where you first met, where you had your first date, where you proclaimed your love for each other.

..And for those who want to impress their loved ones and who are lucky to have a good high paying job that can let them afford some luxurious presents for their significant other, here are some lavish ideas on how to surprise them:

1. Romantic holiday. Surprised your beloved with plans for a romantic getaway in some secluded or intimate beach. This is ideal for couples who may be too busy with work or their jobs to see much of each other. Take care of the plane tickets and hotel reservations in advance. Find the perfect vacation spot online or ask friends if they know of a place where you could take your special someone and spend some romantic time.

2. Engraved jewelry. Jewels and precious stone symbolize long-lasting love because they stand the test of time. Diamonds and gems would make any woman weak in the knees but having the jewelry pieces engraved with your names or initials or even a secret joke the two of you share will surely bring tears of joy to her eyes. Picking an earring or a necklace bearing her birth stone or favorite gem expresses thoughtfulness. For both men and women, try making handmade jewelry for your special someone.

3. or a LOUIS VUITTON purse :)

The best thing about these gifts is that you can give them any time of year, as often as you like. There's no need to wait for a special holiday or occasion to show your special someone how much love you certainly have for them. You may just find in the giving, that you too receive the greatest gift of all in return, the love and appreciation of your partner.

HAPPY HEARTS DAY EVERYONE.
XOXO

MY LATEST ADDICTION.

I
T ALL STARTED IN YOUTUBE. ME AND MY SISTER GLADYS WERE WATCHING HOW-TO VIDEOS OF MAKE-UP APPLICATION AND SINCE THEN I GOT ADDICTED TO IT. I DONT WEAR TOO MUCH MAKE UP THOUGH,I JUST LIKE TO PUT MAKE UP TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE'S OCCASSION. I GET ALL GIDDY AND EXCITED WHENEVER ME AND MY GOOD FRIEND RITZ PASS BY RITE-AID..YEAH THATS THE PLACE WE OFTEN GO TO FIND MAKE UPS SINCE ITS JUST FEW MINUTES AWAY FROM OUR PLACE,ITS ACTUALLY A PHARMACY/CONVENIENCE STORE/GROCERIES..ITS LIKE A ONE STOP SHOP WHERE YOU CAN FIND STUFF LIKE MAKE UPS!! WE DO ORDER ONLINE TOO! (SSSHH..SECRET LANG TO KAY ANTHONY,RITZ HUBBY)

ITS SO ADDICTING THAT WE ALWAYS TALK ABOUT IT,WATCH VIDEOS OF IT AND OF COURSE PRACTICING IT TO OURSELVES OKAY LEMME SHARE WITH YOU GUYS THE PARTICULAR MAKE-UP I PERSONALLY LOVE, ITS CALLED "SMOKEY EYES"

Smoky eyes have been a big style for quite awhile and there's no sign this particular trend is dying.

The key to the perfect smoky eye is proper blending. You want to make sure colors are blended together flawlessly. Also, it's important to pair light base colors with rich dark colors. Nice mixes include: Soft gold base with deep purple on top, champagne base with bright blue and peach base with green hue.

If you're going out for a night on the town and you want to look your sexiest, the surest way to achieve that look through makeup is with a
smoky eye.

Here are some of the "smokey eyes" look i want to achieve and try on to myself:

PINAY.

Filipinos (Fil: Mga Pilipino); feminine: Filipinas (Fil: Mga Pilipina), or the Filipino people (Fil: Lahing Pilipino) Pt-br-filipino.ogg listen (help·info), refers to the people of the Philippines, an archipelago in Southeast Asia, and their descendants abroad.[2] It is estimated that their population is more than 100 million worldwide.

Colloquially, they refer to themselves as Pinoy (feminine: Pinay), which is formed by taking the last four letters of Pilipino and adding the diminutive suffix -y.[2]Philippine languages lack /f/ as a phoneme and is substituted by /p/ turning Filipino into Pilipino.
